Recipe ingredients - Hindi-English terminology

I often come across an interesting vegetarian recipe, but sometimes I don't know the meaning of a particular ingredient in Hindi / English. I assume that most of you would have faced a similar situation. This blog post is my attempt to list some common ingredients and what thay are called in Hindi / English.

  1. Poha = Beaten rice
  2. Chana = Brown chickpeas
  3. Hara chana = Green chickpeas
  4. Kabuli chana = White chickpeas
  5. Besan / besan ka atta = Gram flour

I'll keep updating this blog for more such stuff. Do feel free to add to the list / correct me if I'm wrong.
